Don't be fooled by the silly billboards. This place is a wonderful little oasis of good eats. BBQ, catfish and burgers, all fresh and plentiful, but most of all, delicious. Full of locals that would know better if the food was subpar. Many called by name when they walked in. One warning: come hungry!
When I received my meal I accidentally used the hot barbecue sauce instead of charging me for another sandwich she made me one without charge. Very pleasant visit there. We will definitely go back there again.
It was the #1 rated place to eat in Paul's Valley, that's why we went there. I ordered shrimp which was to come with Cole slaw & choice of potato. I got 5 shrimp 2/3 plate of overcooked fries with pieces of other fried veggies leftover from someone else's order & about 4 tablespoons of slaw. The price is not on the menu but it had to cost around $15. Over rated & over priced. If you aren't a country music fan don't go here. That's all they play & it's too loud.
The employees were wonderful. The woman that took our order help us because we were unsure of what we wanted. They also let us taste several things before we purchased them.
Had to hand deliver some cheap Divorce papers to a customer in Paul’s Valley because they couldn’t make it to our office in Moore but really needed them, stopped in at Punkins and BAM!!! The catfish was AWESOME!!!!
Really great Bar-B-Q. Super option for just pulling off of the highway. Friendly, and quick service. Very personable.
